Sorry for the recent radio silence – busy couple of months. I have been squeezing in time on some projects, including my new desert board.

This is built on a 2×3 model railway baseboard bought from the excellent folks at model-railway-baseboards.co.uk. It’s really sturdy (40mm pine frame, with 2 internal bracers and 5mm ply wood) but still light enough to wall mount (which was the key part of this project). When it’s not in use it’ll sit above the painting desk.

Drybrushing’s boring, which is why it’s slow going – the bottom right has had all 3 layers finished, so you can see the final tone I’m going got.
